ALLIANCE invites you to the ALLIANCE Future Lightweighting Day, following the Aachen Body Engineering Days on September 20th.

The ALLIANCE Future Lightweighting Day is an all-day event dedicated to materials and manufacturing innovations in the field of automotive lightweighting. ALLIANCE researchers from Fraunhofer LBF, ika-RWTHNovelis, KIT, inspire and Opel will give insights into the recent developments within ALLIANCE, ranging from design optimisation tools to characterisation of materials and sustainable lightweighting.

The event will also include an exhibition area where LOIC winners will exhibit their demonstrators and ALLIANCE partners will showcase posters highlighting relevant results from their ongoing research.

The Future Lightweighting Day will take place at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) of RWTH Aachen University.

Attendance is free of charge but registration is required. Please register through the event website here.
